In the beginning of The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy realizes that she’s not in Kansas anymore. Her house had fallen on the Witch of the West and she was given her red shiny shoes by the Witch of the North.

In this movie and book, Dorothy tries to find her way home every way she believes is possible. By asking others, by following a yellow brick road, and by looking for the Wizard of Oz. Along the way, she makes friends that are also looking to solve their problems and would enjoy a helping hand.

The Illusions We Play In Our Heads

While tough times show up in their way, the characters that seemed to be missing something like a heart, a brain, or even courage, prove that they have just that.

The Tin Man had the largest heart of the group by putting the good of the group above his own personal needs. The scarecrow shows he has more wits than he believes and becomes the ruler of Emerald City at the end. The Cowardly Lion shows himself by ambushing Dorothy and her friends in the first place. Each character had a complex about themselves that they did not like but proved they had it within themselves throughout the entire movie.

What the Wizard of Oz does is open their eyes to the limiting beliefs they were giving themselves by empowering them with a few words and giving them a placebo diploma, award of bravery, and a heart-shaped clock.

Best of all is how Dorothy was able to go home thanks to the Witch of the North named Glinda:

Dorothy: Oh, will you help me? Can you help me?
Glinda: You don’t need to be helped any longer. You’ve always had the power to go back to Kansas.
Dorothy: I have?
Scarecrow: Then why didn’t you tell her before?
Glinda: Because she wouldn’t have believed me. She had to learn it for herself.

What if I told you that I am your Witch of the North?

I want to make very clear that I am not the Wizard of Oz. First, I am not a guy. Second, I am not here to solve your problems through placebo effects or misguide you.

I am here to open your eyes and show you that you had the answer all along to go back to Kansas.

I am here to help you discover

  • Unconditional support along your journey
  • Clearing up unresolved issues
  • A positive way to look at life
  • Helping you make better decisions
  • Finding out what you really want
  • Being the person you want to be
  • Stopping tolerance in your life
  • The Light Within

There is One Rule through all of this:

  1. You must be willing to change and grow

I will guide you, just like Glinda guided Dorothy, to your very own yellow brick road. You will go thru adventures and I will pop in occasionally to be of support. You may make new friends, you may have to defeat a few shadows and imaginative villains, but you will certainly have the heart, brain, courage and shoes to do it!

You: Oh, will you help me? Can you help me?
Jaslin: You don’t need to be helped any longer. You’ve always had the power and light within.
You: I have? Then why didn’t I know this before?
Jaslin: Because you wouldn’t have believed it. You had to discover your own truth.
